Broadcasting (distribution) of numbering, in other words, means informing operators in the domestic market that subscriber numbering assigned to a specific routing number must be terminated at the operator assigned to the routing number. Incoming calls from other operators will be routed through the LoVo network contact points to the operator’s target numbers.
Broadcasting (distribution) of subscriber and routing numbering is an indispensable procedure for termination, i.e. termination of calls in the operator’s network whose numbering is being broadcast. A domestic operator which has received a numerical range from the regulator of UKE, in order to be able to provide telecommunications services related to the effective implementation of calls to target numbers, must perform broadcast. This is done by informing other operators where to route calls to numbers assigned to a specific routing number.
Lending / Sharing subscriber numbering consists in assigning numbering from LoVo’s resources to an operator. Our company holds its own geographic numbering range in all 49 numbering zones, non-geographic numbering (+48 39) as well as intelligent numbering (+48 80x). The numbering is shared according to UKE requirements (numbering sharing is done in packages from 100 DDI). Additionally, our company holds international numberings which are shared in packages or as individual numbers.
Benefits for operators
LoVo as an operator for operators has signed interconnect agreements with over 800 domestic and international operators, which means that we are among the largest operators in the area of broadcasting (distribution) of subscriber and routing numbering.
